Have you spoken to other agents that work under the same broker? How do they feel? Also, speak to other agents and brokers in your area and see if you will have the same experiences at other brokerages. If it will be a better fit for you, and this is holding you back then it might be worthwhile switching asap. 

Just remember to stay professional with your current broker - the real estate world is small.
