Getting a License in another state

Hi - I am considering getting my real estate license. The pre-license requirements in my state include 116 hours of classroom time. However, the state right next door only requires 60 hours of classroom time. Both states offer their courses online.

So, I'd like to save myself some time and get my license in the state next door, and then transfer it to my home state.

My question is: has anyone done this? Are their any risks/objections/issues with doing this?

Thanks,

Tom
