Advice needed from the pros

Hello everyone, I have been working for my company for two months now. My client base is very large but I don't have a license yet. I'm currently taking the classes necessary to obtain a license. In the meantime I wonder if all the work I have done so far is beneficial to me or just my company. I get paid solely off commission, and I'm positive I cannot receive commission without a license. So I believe I'm asking whether I should stop working and finish the classes first and then pick up where I left off?
