My Wife ALMOST has her Oregon RE license she just has to pass the exam. She's wondering what the best brokerage is to "hang her shingle" on for training. We've heard KW from a lot of Agents. She won't be doing it full-time mostly just assisting me with flipping for retail but we want to get her trained! Help!! Thank you in advance :-)

@Matt Good, have your wife interview as many agents as she needs to, to find one that is a good fit for her and her needs.

The contract is the biggest thing, so any additional contracts classes she could take would pay off 1000-fold. She will want someone to review her contracts until she feels comfortable with them.

Be upfront with the brokers, and tell them exactly what she plans to do with her license. If she is not going to be helping other clients, make sure they know that.

The big-name brokerages are more likely to want full-time agents. Smaller brokerages are more likely to accommodate investor-agents who don't sell a ton. Find the agency that works best for your needs.
