Hey Bigger Pockets

So I'm seriously considering getting my license and being an agent until I can save more money and go fulltime and then jump into investing. I live in Nashville currently and was going to join Keller Williams. I want to get feedback on the market right now in Nashville so I can determine how difficult it is going to be for me to try and really do this fulltime and replenish my 6 fig income. I will still keep my job until I am able to do it full time but I really need this to happen ASAP.

I know someone that got their liscence and started last year in June at Keller Williams and just found out that he had to go back to uber driving because it is so dry. I find that EXTREMELY hard to believe especially in Nashville. Is anyone else having the same problem. Or is anyone else having success?

I'm not in Nashville, but there are successful agents and equally unsuccessful agents anywhere. There are top producers at my brokerage making millions, and in the same office, there are agents who are barely scraping by and literally delivering pizzas in the evenings to make ends meet. Since your friend started last June, I'd say he's still a rookie and won't see any returns until his 2nd or 3rd year. There's a reason why 85% of agents quit within their first year.
