Is it legal for me to sign this agreement at 17? I know there's a lot of stuff that I cant legally sign or sign without a co-signature, but I'm not sure about agent agreements?

I know in my state, contracts entered into with minors are unenforceable. Meaning that a minor could indeed sign a contract, but if there were any breach, the case would be thrown out in court.

@Adam Serdula in NC any real estate contract and sale is void if the party involved is a minor. So hate to say it but you gotta wait till your birthday.

As an aside, a car dealer I used to work for sold a 17 year old a car, he paid cash for it... just under 20 grand. Came back 3 years later with his attorney and they wrote him a check for about 14 grand after all the fighting was over. Hard expensive lesson.

Here in PA you can't. You are not of the age of majority and the contract is void without a parent or guardian on it also.

I don't think so unless you are an emancipated minor. Check with local laws.
