I should pass my Florid RE sales associate license this month and I’ll need to “hang” my license w a broker. How does one decide on a broker? Can you quit workin with one quickly or is that frowned upon? Also - I’d like to start part time working with assisting investor problems. Any insight is appreciated.

You find one that you get along with personality wise. Ask about part time and what their expectations of you would be. You also want to know what the commission split is and any other expenses.
Yes you can quit and change with relative ease.

You should look at several brokerages before you make a decision. Keller Williams should be one of them. Became US #1 last year, very fast growing and for good reasons. Things to look for are culture, energy, training, commission splits and support and coaching. PM me, I'll get you a local phone number!

Simple does not equal easy.
Simple: Starting out fresh? Go for the best training. A good feel/fit for the broker and trainer is important, however, don't look to be too warm and fuzzy--you need to find someone that can teach you, challenge you, help keep you motivated and goal oriented. And has top-notch agents working in the office.
Of course, that's only applicable if you really want to be successful in this business.
Easy: If you just want to LOOK busy, that's easy to do in real estate. Find the office that has plenty of donuts and coffee and lots of people hanging around bs'ing about last night's game, or how their one-and-only contract fell out and are ready to pounce on any breathing body that comes through the door.
Your choice. Good luck!

Only a costly piece of paper. Costly meaning the up keeping, tools, cars, suits needed. Investors are hard to press getting into a deal. Home buyers are easier.
Do not quit your day time job. Unless you have very deep pockets or great social circle, you will find a small % agents can make a living. Rest disappear...
