I see men constantly posting! Where are the women? That are investors and agents?

I have seen the same trend here in New England. It does appear that way, but in my 35 years experience in real estate sales and investment I have worked with many women in real estate and investment.  People who have vision for investment come in all shapes, sizes, male, female, young and old. One of my latest clients was an extremely capable woman who in a 5 year span bought and flipped 4 homes.  Her husband was a superintendent of a good sized school district, he saw how good she was at making their savings grow and gave her full support!  

Even though I was raised with the knowledge that investing in multi unit dwellings was an amazing way to pad your account for retirement, and sold real estate for over 35 years, my husband of 33 years took a lot longer to get on board... Finally a few years ago, we had the opportunity to purchase several income producing properties and he agreed. We are now letting our tenants pay for 95% of the payments on those (our mortgage, HOA's, repairs and other expenses) Our tenants are paying nearly all the bills and because of that, we should have all three properties paid off within 10 years. Just in time for retirement!

Some people are wired for investing...some are not.
