Help: HUD Bidding process! (Owner Occupant)

Natalie Martinez
Posted

Property is listed for 244k. However, a lot of people are interest in this property. I will really like some help on what may be a good bid offer!!! I was thinking 250k due to people showing a lot of interest and also on the comparables of the area. A realtor suggested no less than 255k. I have been reading about the 80-88% rule but I am worried it will impact my offer and not being accepted.

So, I am here open for any suggestions and comments. Also learning on the HUD net value numbers!! :)

It will be highly appreciated, I will be deciding the number tomorrow so we can submit the offer.

*fingers crossed*

@Natalie Martinez

As I explained to you via PM, HUD has not notified those who's bids were not accepted for 30+ years. An experienced HUD agent should know that

So there is always a good chance either the buyer does not move forward with the bid or does not close on the property.  However, waiting for someone to notify you is not going to happen.  My best advice at this point is get an account with hudhomestore.com and look for the property every night as it would come back active with zero notice.  If you miss it that night others may not.  Additionally, the net amount of the winning bid should show up under the Bid Results tab in Hudhomestore in a few days
