Hey guys, I am looking for a few agents to meet with in the Tacoma area.

We are thinking about moving over from kitsap and would be looking for someone to help us learn the new market and analyze some 2-4unit building's.

We intend to use a VA loan and IRRRL out after about a year.

Thanks in advance for the referrals

Sure thing @Samuel Fletcher Hardy- I'll send you a rental report for each of the two neighborhoods in Tacoma that we're most excited about small multifamilies in. Of course, lots of other locations to chose from but helps to start somewhere.

To clarify on the VA loan bit - I'm not worried about you not knowing about the VA loan requirements, I'm actually worried about the listing agent working with the seller not knowing! If your buyer's agent submits a VA offer for you and the seller's agent has misconceptions about the program, then passes those misconceptions on to the seller, you could end up (unfairly) having your offer rejected for a competing offer. Not every agent works with VA borrowers, so its important that your Buyer's agent explains VA financing to the Listing Agent in case they're misinformed about how those loans work. Crazy that you have to do that with real estate professionals I know, but its necessary.
