Best Real Estate Online School Recommendations?

Hi everyone.  I’m looking to get a real estate license.  What online schools have you attended? And what was your experience?

In Texas most people like Champions for in person classes and they do online as well.  Great teachers, great reputation.  My guess is it is around $1000 for the complete training package.  I’ve taken online and in person classes from them and thought they had great value.

The CE shop is a great online resource for many states.  They often have 30-40% off specials.  I advise to call them directly though and ask to see if they have any unadvertised specials or military discounts.

Groupon often has some great discounts.  I’ve seen the entire package of classes offered for $140 sometimes so check out that.

I took many classes both in person and online from my local community college.  They were excellent value, so you might check that out for your area.

@Grisel Lopez certainly look into Aceable Agent as well. All online and relatively cheap compared to other online courses. They are fairly new but provide great learning content and different strategies to help you pass your exam. I also recommend watching Prep Agent videos on YouTube. He is fantastic at explaining different real estate concepts and principles. Hope this helps! Best of luck.

I run a large team and 90% of my agents went through Kaplan online

VANED is decent and the CE shop is great for continuing education

I used Real Estate Express (the cheapest option they offered), and it worked out perfectly for me. With the specific option that I chose, it was completely online, and you always had access to the instructors if you had any questions or issues. However, I am licensed in Georgia, so I'm not sure if your experience would match up with mine.

CE Shop is what I used as well.  Great for self paced as long as you are comfortable with the online learning environment.

There are usually discount codes floating around ranging from 20%-40%.  I usually grab a desired course or two when the 40% is active as it can save you a good chunk of money depending on the course or package.

@Grisel Lopez I’m currently using Kaplan in TX and have been very happy with it so far. I’m doing the online self paced study. It was around $500. The online instruction videos are easy to watch and informative and the text books are easy to understand.
