As a newbie broker in California, can I get paid a commission for a house that I purchase for myself in CA? If so, are there additional steps I need to take?

Jared Gruber I'm not sure what MLS rules you might be talking about. But, when a lender establishes the conditions upon which it will accept a short sale, it doesn't give a rat's @@s about any local MLS rules, as they don't apply to them. Typically you would have your broker, r another agent rep you, with a referral agreement.
