Advice for New Agents

Hi Everyone! I’m new to real estate and hopefully joining a team this week. If you could go back to your first year in real estate knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently? What are some realistic goals for the first year? Do you have a morning routine, if so what does it consist of? What’s your best advice to give a new agent and what do you think it takes to be successful in this business? Do you have any good books/podcasts you recommend whether it be about mindset or real estate? I’m trying to get my mind ready to hit the ground running and start a successful business! I appreciate any and all advice!!

@Fallon Morris - congrats!  I suggest reading the Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller (whether or not you want to be with KW, its a great book on the fundamentals of building an agent business).  I listen to two podcasts, Brian Buffini and Real Estate Rock Stars.  Brian is more mindset, while the other is more interviews with successful agents which tends to have more practical advice/tips, etc.
