What’s up BP forum!

Saying hi and wanted to shout out that this site is amazing. Crazy value.

A little about me:

I’m 35, no kids, single and live near Seattle, Wa. I started my adult working life in sales at a big box retailer. I excelled and it brought me to different parts of the country (ending in Seattle) and I ended that career in the top 1% of the company. I left that position to start a business and had decent success. I made $0 dollars from 7 years of work but the company should be acquired by end of year. During the 2 years previous to march 2020 (pandemic layoff) I was bartending and saving lots of money/investing in cryptocurrency. Once laid off I started studying and received a network+ and security+ in about 6 months. Im starting to apply for jobs in tech (only to have income for a loan) but I’m a little hesitant to start trading my time for money again.

I have the financial runway talked about in  most books like “set for life” and I’m working on getting my first property around Sept-Jan 2022. Im waiting in order to get my Mothers basement, in the house that she bought in October last year, hacked. She took out the deferment for covid relief and we have close to $25k (split) to get her living with a $0 mortgage payment. Once we have a tenant she plans to refinance, use the lease(75%ish) as another source of income and co-sign on my first property!

I’m more excited then I have been in awhile about real estate investing and I’m doing my best to get this site figured out!

To toot my own horn I’m a pretty resourceful person and have always been able to overcome bad odds against me. I have lots if questions so I hope to have some awesome discussions!

I just posted my first question in the agent forum area about being either an agent, LO or… BOTH?
