Redfin- Associate Agent

Michelle Lopez
Posted

I'm still pretty early on in my journey as a real estate in New Jersey. Come to find out I didn't pick the right Broker. Don't get me wrong my Broker is a fantastic person but she can't provide me what I need as a NEW agent. I was looking into other brokerages and I can across Redfin. I get that Redfin does not use the traditional methods.

I was looking into the Associates Agent jobs and seems like a good start to start with. I just want to hear other people's experiences and see if it's worth it ? If so how long is their process ?

I've never worked for Redfin so I can't offer personal experience, but from the outside looking in it seems like the difference between Redfin and a more established, "traditional" brokerage like KW or eXp is the difference between having a job and having a businesses. Neither is right or wrong, it just depends on your goals.

I suggest reading "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" for more insight into the mindset and models of a business focused real estate agent.

Good luck!
