Appealing a low rent appraisal for DSCR
Just ordered 2 appraisals and had to appeal both to get the deal to go through. Anyone else have to deal with this? How did you handle it? It took me 5 hours to pull all of the info, dissect listing photos, etc!

@Maranda Tucker, I always try to walk through the property with the appraiser. I hand them print outs of good comps that I think are favorable to what I think the valuation is. I mention what I think the value is. I highlight work done to the property as we go through.
Since I started doing that I haven't had an issue with appraisals. Point the appraiser in the right direction, but also be reasonable. The comps I give them are honestly the best comps I can find. The ones I would use if I was trying to determine the value to BUY the property myself.
