Second Home Loan for Building

Hello, 

I am looking for the best financing options for a second home which intend to buy land and then build. I am not an expert in this area but I'm thinking I could possibly use my HELOC for the land and get a construction loan to build the home and once finished roll it into a conventional second home loan. Looking for some advice/options on the best way to get this project up and running.
