Just passed NMLS test - need advice on next steps

Hey everyone,

Like the title says, I just passed my NMLS test this past weekend and am trying to find my what the next part of my journey is. Right now, I work in tech and am trying to leverage my W2 to so that I'm bankable for more conventional loans.

I'm currently on my second house hack and love real estate, but want to slowly wade into the loan officer world before I go full time. I do have some time flexibility during the days and a lot in the evening and am not afraid to hustle for leads.

I've applied to David Greene's The One Brokerage as it seems like I'd be a good culture fit and would love to learn from other loan officers that are also investors, however, I know the odds of an experienced brokerage like his wanting to hire an LO with no experience are probably low.

Does anyone have any solid advice on how to go about this? I appreciate any insight!
