New Member Requesting Help Finding A Mortgage Holder

Hello BP community! I finally managed to sign up after reading through numerous forums on this site. Looking forward to learn more from the wonderful people on here.

My partner and I are prospecting a property whose owner is MetLife Home Loans. It is my understanding that MetLife Home Loans is no longer in business so we would like to find the current mortgage holder. The property has no delinquent property tax payments and the mailing address that the local assessor's office has on file is for Nationstar Mortgage. After contacting Nationstar's REO department, they informed us that they have no record of possessing or previously possessing the property. Does anyone have any advice as to how to obtain the actual owner of this property in this situation? Our thought it that the mail is being forwarded to the actual owner either by the USPS or by Nationstar since the tax payments are being made, but we are at a loss thinking of the possible next steps. Thanks!
