Private lending - broker requirements?
I’m interested to learn more about the requirements, if any, to become a private lending broker. I am an investor who has done 10 deals now. Many of them have been with private money lenders. I continuously refer people in my network to these lenders as well, so I am interested in possibly supplementing my investment income by brokering some of these loans. I don’t have a mortgage background but have done enough deals myself to understand the process and believe I can offer a higher level of customer service to my clients than I’ve experienced myself. Any thoughts or experience is much appreciated. I couldn’t find many recent threads on this topic.
