Manufactured Home Loans in Oregon

Hey @Whitney Anne Kwek

You're really not going to find many (if any) lenders for individual homes, especially if they are not in parks. Since the chattel crisis, lending on mobile homes has been nearly non-existent. There are some programs (21st Mortgage has a couple) that will lend on homes that are in parks because they require the park owner to cosign and be responsible for any missed payments.

If these homes are not in parks, your best bet is to go to local small banks/credit unions.

Good luck and please let us know if you find a national lender for mobile homes. I know many folks that would be very interested in this.

Feel free to shoot me a message anytime if you have other questions or just want to chat!

Thank you Brenden and Steve!

Some of my clients are buying in parks, but I do know of clients looking for manufactured homes on land as well. I'm currently doing research on who are the best lenders for this.

@Whitney Anne Kwek A few off the top of my head are Vanderbilt Mortgage, 21st Mortgage, and Triad Financial Services. You could also talk to some mobile home dealerships in the area as they usually work with lenders to help their buyers get financing to buy their homes. Hope that helps!

Rick Budahl at Northwest Housing Services is a specialist in manufactured homes.

US Bank also has a manufactured home lending department for homes in parks but I don't know the direct number to that department.
