Contractors. How to spot a good one?
How do you find a good contractor? what do you look for? what is a sign that its not a good service to give your money to?

The most important thing -- other investors who you know and trust have worked with them and recommend them.
Apart from that, it's all about due diligence, checking references, asking to see previous work they did (yes, ask to walk through a house they worked on), checking their license/insurance status, having a thorough SOW and contract and managing them well.
