Looking for recommendations on contractors/engineers

Hi, all,

My name is Diana, currently based in Houston, Tx. I am new to the community.

My partner and I are looking at a commercial property to buy in, but after some researchs, we found out the previous owner had some interior renovation done without permits. We do love the building As-Is. After talking to the city, we were advised to turn in drawings of as-is for permitting and adjust accordingly.

Just wondering if anyone who have dealt the similar situation and have any recommendations on local engineer firms and contractors who have experience in this kinda project.

Thanks ahead!!!
