What law applies to contracts with contracters in Southern CA?

Hi Everyone

What laws cover contracts with contractors in California? And are there good resources covering these laws? The contractors to be covered under these laws are roofers, remodelers, ect.

Thanks

This is a very broad question, but I think what you're looking for is the California Business & Professions Code.  You can start with Sections 7150-7164 to learn more about contract requirements.  However, I'll warn you in advance, once you start reading this stuff, you'll quickly see why Manolo suggested just hiring an attorney.  :)
