Taking advantage of the elderly

This is the stuff that pisses me off . A friend of mine , his mothers gas hot water died . The woman lives alone and is 92 years old . She called one of the BIG plumbing outfits that advertises on TV .  They tell her it could blow up , she needs to leave the house , and that they can put in a new gas hot water heater for $ 5800.   Luckly he called me and I told him " No Damn Way , pay the service call and send them away "  

I now have a job on Sat Morning . What ever the heater costs and $300 for my time .
