In case you didn't notice - check out on the left side of any forum post:

Yep, now you can see how many "voted posts" a person has, in total. So @Joshua D. has 2,690 voted posts here on the forums (a bit more than me... come on people! Vote me up!)

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! ;)

To make things a little more interesting, now you can see who the leaders are for voted posts, both over the life of the site AND over the past trailing month! Just go to BiggerPockets.com/stats to see the current rankings. Here's a photo of how it looks right now:

So congrats to @Jon Holdman , @J Scott , @Bill Gulley for the top voted-up posts this week!

@Will Barnard .. show off!! Can I borrow some? LOL Honestly though, that's great when people actually pay attention to our posts isn't it? Obviously some more thn others. You guys are all really racking them up. Thankfully there's not a vote it down button!

    I think Josh mentioned to me if I keep getting voted up he is going to pay to send me up in space on the Virgin Galactic spaceship.

    There will not be enough money for Josh to go up as well so I will just have to film it for everyone. I will make a post to the BP forum from space!....... : )

    How do you get to stats, type the whole thing in as http: or is the link/button ? :)

    @Bill Gulley - There'a a link in the footer of the site to "Stats" or just add /stats at the end of our URL -- http://www.biggerpockets.com/stats and you'll be there.

    @Brandon Turner What's voting all about? Also, what are awards? How does that work. There's so much info on BP it's hard to sort it all out, lol. I bet a large portion of members hardly know about voting or awards, they just post. Like I do.

    Hey @Annette Hibbler good question! So, Voting up a post just means you think it's cool, good, right, etc. It's kind of like "like" on facebook.

    Awards, on the other hand, are just given automatically when you've done certain cool things at BP, like posted 1000 times, started a debate, etc. Here's the list!

    Annette, all you really need to know about voting is how to click the vote button on the upper right of a post. That and clicking that button on all my posts..... LOL :)

    Actually, we give a nod to others by a vote when someone asks a really good question, gives good advice or provides insight to a thread. And it's not something that we do as tic for tac, I vote for Joe and Joe votes for me as that can really be seen in a poor light (IMO). We are simply saying thanks for the info. :)

    While I enjoy the vote button, I think it would be more directive to how the post is going if there were multiple "vote" buttons. Helpful, Informative, Thought Provoking and Funny. Perhaps even a controversial vote.

    Like as @Bill Gulley said "Actually, we give a nod to others by a vote when someone asks a really good question, gives good advice or provides insight to a thread."

    It'd would be really helpful to know (at a glance) why it is being voted up, and could help new visitors to the site file the post/comment in the right thought process. Are we voting up @Brandon Turner because of Cat References and being funny in a post, or because it's an allegory to some insight.

    Bah, here's where I was going with this: With the vast volume of daily posts it's almost a part-time job to find the great posts that are cycling through the forum. Even with keywords and @mentions, and following certain people it often becomes overwhelming to catch the great conversations going on.

    I could imagine a fantastic little sidebar on the right hand of the screen that shows todays funniest post, most informative post, most thought provoking, most controversial, etc...
