How to post an Excel chart?

I'm trying to post a chart that includes final numbers from a deal.  The chart is in an Excel file.  It's the same chart J Scott uses on his site to post rehab numbers.  How do I cut and paste the chart in order to post it in thread?  Thanks!

Not a great techie, but......select the entire area you want in the spreadsheet, copy/control c, once on a post with a cursor, "control V" (paste).  If that doesn't work, I'm done.

Yup posting a screenshot would be easiest. You should have a PrintScreen (PRTSC) button somewhere on your keyboard. Once you hit that just open up paint, paste it then save it.

I tried cutting and pasting but all the formatting disappears in the post.  How do I take a screen shot?  Be specific.  :)

Well.  I'm usually done before I start, but I did try at least that much.

Victory.  It's all about the "command- shift-4" action on my keyboard.  That, and lots of dragging.  Thanks all!

Your suggestion prompted a family/IT meeting, shouting between dining room and living room: "Where is my PRTSC button?"  My live-in specialist set me straight.  I can screen shot anything now.   Thanks!
