The Bigger Pocket upgrades! Pay the membership or is it not worth it?

Hello everyone I am new here at bigger pockets.  I wanted to get the communities thoughts on going pro bigger pockets and is it worth it? What are the perks? What are the disadvantages?  Anything is helpful. Thank you

Only disadvantage I have seen is it costs money.  You can manage that a bit by doing an annual membership.  Also I would advise anyone looking at upgrading to attend one of Brandon's BiggerPockets Webinars at http://www.biggerpockets.com/webinar it could be very beneficial to hear his pitch at the end. The perks that I have used are the 10% discount for Transunion SmartMove for tenant background checks and the Rental Property Analysis Tool.  I do use a spreadsheet I got from the BP FilePlace that I modified to do my actual analysis because it is faster when doing what if checks based on loan terms, different expenses, etc now.  I then plug in the final figures on any properties I like into the BP tool because it produces a really nice PDF that I can print and give to my wife and/or a lender that I need to convince it is a good deal.  I haven't done much else with the Pro features, but there are some things that look interesting for a more active investor especially flippers.  These are some of the discounts available too:  http://www.biggerpockets.com/perks
