How to speak to Clients

Question

Hello All,

I was just wondering if there are any specific sayings or words I should stay away from while talking to a client either on the phone or in person. Also, what are some things that I can say that can be used to my advantage?

As a wholesaler, I would think that you'd have established a relationship with your buyer(s) and are just out looking for "fill their orders" with what ever properties they're looking for. So, the language would come into play when you're building those relationships.

Your sellers mostly just need to know that you can close your end of the sale. Full disclosure, of course - you need to let hem know that they will be closing with a third-party who will actually complete the sale. You're just the 3rd party buyer's "procurer".

I think the best bet is to just treat people like people.

Find a few wholeseller scripts on the net. Most are pretty simple. You should one for sellers and one for investors or retail buyers.

Most of it is just trying to figure out what a buyer or seller is looking for in a property, and for sellers what they are looking to get for their home.

That's going to depend which business you are in.

I'm a bit confused because RE investors don't typically have "clients".

Which business are you talking about?
