Silly forum semi-technical question - reply to use tagging

I've been here for a while, and there's something I've never figured out about the forum interface.

I see replies starting tagged with the @<username of user being replied to>.  But I see no "reply" button or anything of the sort.  I think I tried starting my posts typeing "@<username>" but it just came in as plain text.

I'm clearly missing something, but I don't know what it is.  I'm usually good with technical issues, but I'm not getting this one.

@Michael Wolffs , to tag someone who has already commented in the thread, you type in the @ symbol followed by a ? (question mark). You will then get a list of names of people who have previously commented. (It's a scrollable list, so if you don't see the right person, just roll through them until you find them.

You can also type the @ symbol followed by their name.

To bring in someone who has not yet commented, type the @ symbol followed by their name. (You must first be colleagues with them in order to tag them, or they must be an administrator. Anyone can tag me as an admin.)
