mobile Home no title

Guys

I have a small add and one person called me to sell a 1969 mobile home, 2 rooms and 1 bathroom. The price that she asks it is a little high and she wants the mobile home to be moved because the owner of the park is putting new ones (I do not know).

I will go away of the deal, I think I could get something very low for the mobile house, there are two problems:

1. No title

2. Price to move the house

How do you get the title ? Also how much you guys pay if you want to move a mobile home around 20 miles from the site?

Thanks @George Skidis, good information, lets see if this apply in Texas

For the most part......no they do not apply in Texas.  Mobile homes do not have titles in Texas.  They have an SOL which is a Statement of Ownership and location

Mobil homes in Texas can be personal or real property depending on whether they are attached to land

They are also taxed on their value so in effect there is no difference in property taxes other than if they are real property then the value of the land is added

Like I stated previously,  more than likely the cost to move will exceed the value
