In the past finanicng mobile homes for the investor has been a problem especially for the investor where the home is not real estate but titled property. We are now financing those as leased equipment and financing them like someone would a bulldozier or a over the road truck.

Hi, careful investors, leasing is not financing, your "lender" is in title and title is not transferred until it's paid. If you don't own it, watch your installment sale contracts. Due on sale has a whole different meaning when you sell personal property you don't have title to.
It can also a very expensive way to finance, even if the amounts involved are small. Bill
