Titles - Abandoned Homes

I'm not sure what your question is.  Please be more specific.

Sorry Ellis,

I guess my question should be:

When it comes to acquiring new parks/communities, are companies outsourcing the title work for abandoned homes, title transfers, duplicates etc... or are they doing it internally. What works the best? If you outsource, what companies do people use for those issues?

@Aaron Chachamovits Most bigger companies do outsource to attorneys for the title work for abandoned homes. Though, it does end up costing a lot by the hour. Smaller operations have to do it in house. It's all a matter of knowing the laws and how to go through the process. Time is money!

@Rachel H. - Got it! Thank you for that bit of information.

 Just so you all know:

This seems like a good alternative for some operators and I am certainly in favor of even our clients having a service like this available to them because we hate it when they ask us for this kind of help.

However, I responded with a long list of specific questions about how they handle abandon home titles state specific and have yet to receive any detailed answers. So, I'm being cautious.

@Ken Rishel - Interesting... I am not sure how that happened. If you don't mind, forward that list over to me or her via LinkedIn or Email, whichever you prefer. I'll make sure we get those answered for you!

Thanks Ken!
