MHU bootcamp, when to take the class?

This is a question going out to those who have attended the bootcamp, or I suppose those who may have some insight as well, but when is the correct time to attended the camp?

My wife and I are very new to the industry and are planning on purchasing a park in the future.  We have saved a good chunk, not sure if its popper to talk numbers, of capital but probably have a little bit to go yet.  I guess I'm wondering if one should wait to take the course until you are absolutely ready to buy, or if attending the course is a good introduction even if you don't plan on buying for say another year.  I would thin there is lots of information in the bootcamp that would be indispensable to a newcomer, even if not currently in the position to buy.  However, I could also see where being ready to buy soon after the course could have it's advantages too.

Just curious what y'all thought and might help me decided when to attend the bootcamp.

Thanks!

My wife and I went to the Vegas bootcamp last year. It was great! Tons of information in a short time. I absolutely loved it. I would recommend going as soon as you can. It'll either confirm you've chosen the right niche or it'll let you know early on you need to look at something else. For us, it reinforced our desire to get into the MHP space.

If I remember correctly you can go to a second bootcamp in the future at a really reduced price...maybe a couple hundred bucks? That way you can get all the info now and if you don't actually purchase a park for a while you can go again to refresh your memory. Let me know if you have any questions. Best of luck!

if it’s more than $500 I’d tell you to listen to the MHP podcast instead. Maybe even invest with them for your first deal. They’ll talk to you for free for the cost of a flight to Tampa bay.

I agree with @Bill Brandt in that the podcasts are great (the two I listen to are Kevin Bupp's and Jefferson Lilly's). Lots of great info in there too. In fact, Kevin was my inspiration to get into MHP's.

If you go Frank's bootcamp you'll get free membership in his investor club for several months. As a member you'll have access to their library of coaching and mentoring call recordings, which are incredibly informative.

Great points!  You know it didn't really even occur to me that while attending the boot camp it will very quickly help you decide if you've chosen a field you intend to stay in.  Also, I've never heard of the reduced rate for a second course.  I'm sure that offer may be different or change from time to time, but good to know it is something they are aware of as well.

Thanks for the input.

Well, the bootcamp from my understanding is quite a bit more..something in the line of $2k for 1 ticket or $3k for 2 tickets.  So it is a large expense for sure, but I've heard worth every dollar.  I have begun listening to the MHP podcast and they are great.  You mention "invest with them"?  I didn't realize you could, any chance you could point me in the right direction for more information?

@Theodore Smith - I never went to boot camp but I bought their informational package. It’s a good primer, but it depends on where you want to take your business. I don’t think it is necessary to be successful in this industry. Some of information they preach is very outdated. It will probably take you at least a year to find your first deal so keep that in mind as well. Start taking action sooner.
