Frozen pipes to possible eviction

While working with a plumber at my rental to find the blockage we determined the problem was a frozen sewage pipe. While taking the toilet apart to run a snake I found a plastic back that has drug paraphernalia in it. This violates the contract my section 8 tenants and I have, not sure the best way to proceed. Has anyone dealt with this before?

I would ensure that this is something you genuinely want to go through with. I wouldn't go through the expense unless this was a problem tenant, and or the amount you found is beyond possession for personal use.

Sometimes what is right/wrong isn't as important as what is going to put you out ahead financially.
