Selling on Roofstock?

I found some articles on here from investors who have bought from from Roofstock but couldn't find anything from the other side..

Have any rehabbers on here sold through the site?  I'm curious about how the process went and if it's worth pursuing for selling my rentals.

Thanks in advance!

@Andrew Ross - I have sold 3 homes on Roofstock and overall it's been ok, some good, some bad, few hiccups.

Good - lot of sellers looking to buy, you will get offers. Their inspection report is not insane or nit-picky. It's fair as it protects buyers without slamming seller.

Bad - Maybe bad luck on my end, but I have had a ton of buyers flake out. You collect the 1-2k of EM each time, but it's pain in the butt, especially when you have tenants there. You also get handed-off a few times throughout the process (disposition team, operation team, inspection team, closing team). Little clunky but is what it is.

Lastly, that star rating is pulled at more macro-level data. Chicago is very block-by-block so some of my properties were overrated and some underrated. I had one property that was 100% in a better area than another one of my properties (two listed at same time, both mine, so no owner-bias), and the inferior neighborhood had a better star rating.

I've ended up getting licensed and also been able to find buyers through another agent who has a ton of sellers looking for what I have, so I pivoted. However, would entertain Roofstock if I didn't have these options.
