Contracts & Signing Question
Good Morning,
I am brand new to the real estate investing world. Long time lurker finally trying to take the 1st steps. I am trying to use the "BRRRR" method. Secondly, I am trying to use a wholesaler or source my own leads in order to buy in the Houston area. I have found a title company that is very investor friendly; however, they said they are not allowed to provide general "For Sale By Owner" packets. Most of the reading I've come across says to get a contract from your title company. I was wondering if anyone has a contract they use to buy homes in cash that they'd be willing to share. I've tried to do some research on the topic and it seems like general templates vary greatly from about 2 pages to 10+ pages. Secondly, I was wondering if you have a recommendation on signing these contracts from a different state. Is docusign the best option or do yall use something else to get houses under contract? I'd be trying to get a house under contract in Houston while living out-of-state.
