Investing in Caribbean

Hey all,

Does anyone invest in the Caribbean? With prices so high here locally we are struggling to justify the next purchase. We have some substantial equity and some of the Caribbean islands, specifically Bonaire and Curacao which are owned by the Netherlands look very appealing for a STR. Anyone invested anywhere in the Caribbean and want to share your experiences?
