STR on gulf side of Florida

Andrew Witkowski
Posted

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a short term rental on gulf side of Florida. Right now I'm considering Tampa or Fort Myers (I'd like to stay at least 30mins from a major airport) ...I'd also be interested in up and coming areas at a value price. I can do basic repair.

Criteria I'm looking for:

Ideally under 400k

2 or more bedrooms

With a pool OR near beach OR on a golf course

HOA preferably under 300/mo

Does anyone have any leads or suggestions as where I should be looking to purchase??

Cape Coral is another area that I would strongly consider where the value proposition is still relatively high. Here, you can focus on properties with no HOA, and there's a great supply of properties needing rehab ranging from light cosmetic work all the way to full rehabs

The availability of properties fitting your criteria coupled with the growing STR market segment and short term friendly local government definitely make this city something I would recommend considering!
