Agent involvement/representation in Off Market deals

Jamie Mosley
Posted

Good Morning! I have been in contact with an agent who has presented me with a couple of "off market" deals. Should I bring my own agent into the negotiating? My understanding to the benefit of off market deals is that the seller avoids the realtor fees; but its a realtor that's presenting the deals so I am a bit confused. I am a real estate novice, so I'd greatly appreciate your feedback!

If I'm bringing you an off market deal, you are using me for that deal and the other side. If not, that's the last deal you see from me. If you feel like you need to bring an agent, then you are paying that agent.
