So I don't own a house and I don't have any money but I do want to buy my first home. Problem is that I don't want to waste anyone's time but I do want to find out how much I'll need for a down payment and all. How much cash would it take to buy a house, keys in hand??

Talk to a lender/mortgage broker and they will be able to pre approve you based off your income & DTI.
