Start by getting the lowdown on local rental regulations and any HOA rules you need to play by. Don't forget permits and licenses – they're your golden ticket. Get your property squared away with safety measures and insurance tweaks, then jazz it up for guests. List your spot on platforms like Airbnb, communicate like a champ, and keep an eye on changing rules. It's a journey, but with some hustle, you'll be a short-term rental pro!
