Moving to Dallas

Posted

Hello, i am 21 and moving to Dallas from the North east in May-June due to a job I will be beginning. I am still in college and on my last semester. I have a good amount of money saved to deposit into a house. Nevertheless, I wanted to begin my real state process house hacking and hopefully get a FHA loan due to the high interest rates.

Due to me still being in college, do you guys recommend me going to open homes and setting appointments to see areas on weekends and spring break or would that be a waste of money? My ideal plan currently is to find a place to rent in Dallas until I find a property worth investing in. A

ny other tips and recommendations would be appreciated.
