Resale on fireplace??

Hello everyone,

We are in our current home for a few more years - trying to justify installing a wood burning fireplace in the basement (cost?) however, the offset on utilities would not justify the install. If it would pay for itself on the resale...Im all for it!

pros/cons? The supply of firewood available is overwhelmingly endless.
