Looking to House Hack

Hey SC! Always had family in the area and fell in love with it when visiting as a kid, so family is planning to move January 2027 to the greater Greenville area! I've been a real estate agent for years and my investing portfolio has always been LTRs in NC (I found the numbers more investor friendly when purchasing for cash flow). I know Gville is exploding in popularity - actually have a good chuckle as I see builders just throwing up duplexes everywhere but I don't agree with the pricing! Would love some thoughts from anyone local or investing in the area. We're looking to BRRRR, but hoping to start with a multi family. My focus area is from Easley-ish to the west side of Spartanburg. I actually don't know much about the area south of the 85 corridor, but am familiar with the Greer/Taylors area. I am a strong believer in finding your niche investing, but after years of working with STR, LTR, flippers, etc I have one goal which is to make the right financial moves for my family. So not to open a giant can of worms, but I really don't have a preference - I want to hear it all from you guys!

Thanks!!
