Selling distressed properties

Posted

We’ve been seeing more homeowners choose to sell directly rather than list, especially in situations involving inherited properties or homes that need repairs.

A lot of it comes down to certainty. Sellers don’t want to deal with showings, delays, or deals falling through. In those cases, working directly with a buyer can simplify the process.

For investors, this is also where more off-market opportunities are coming from right now. The key is understanding the seller’s situation first, not just the property itself.
