Loan advice requested

Justin Smith
Posted

Good morning, I wanted to pose a question. I'm currently attempting to get into real estate investing and I am looking for multi family homes. I currently do not have enough for a down payment and I wanted to know what your opinions are for taking out loans to for a down payment  so I can get into it now. Any opinions would be appreciated!

I'd not leverage your down payment, hard to cashflow and very risky. Start with a house hack. Focus on saving $$ for that.
