FL Auction Bidding

Posted

I am a License Sales Associate, but my license is in voluntary inactive status. I would like to know if I need to know first, do my license have to be in active status and I have to be working with a broker to bid at auctions for myself and children?

Second, I don't want to sell real estate, but will like to help people in need of a home by bidding at auctions on their behalf. I won't receive any money at all for my service. Is this legal or will I have to get my broker license to perform this service?

Thanks in advance,

Teretha
