Rental equity for additional properties
We own a single family LTR and a single unit STR. We want to purchase land to build another STR in a tourist town near our home. Our LTR will be paid off in 2 years with a rate of 2.9%. Should I wait to pay this off and then purchase an additional property or is there a way I can leverage the equity to purchase now?
