Investing and networking on Long Island

Greetings folks,

First time poster here. I have a bit of experience flipping in the Bay Area and holding a multi unit rental out near Buffalo, but I'm hoping to focus more on Long Island despite the obvious barriers to entry in such a high priced market. I've already spoken to several friends who are mostly working sales and it's a bit disheartening to hear about the enormous amounts of competition out there in the realm of real estate investing, regardless of the particular niche. Consequently I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself and possibly meet like-minded individuals who'll be able to essentially "crowd-source" investment opportunities. I hope to become a regular contributor to the forums and meet some of you. Good luck.

Frank
